Roberta Fitzgerald

Roberta Aldridge Fitzgerald, 87, of Carrollton, KY, died on Friday, August 19, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home in Carrollton.

She was born on November 17, 1934, in Eminence, Henry County, KY, the daughter of the late James Raymond Aldridge and Gertie Wilson Aldridge.  Roberta had retired from Reliance Electric in Madison, IN, from the Clerical Department after 21 years of service.  After her retirement she went to work for several years for the Dress Barn and Bon Worth Department Stores in Carrollton as a sales associate.  She was a member of The Pentecostals of Carrollton.

Roberta will be missed by her two daughters, Brenda Sue Garrett of Paris Crossing, IN, and Karen Rae (Wayne) Snyder of New Carlisle, OH, a son, Carl Glenn Fitzgerald of Carrollton, KY, seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a niece, Bonnie (Larry) Smith of Erlanger, KY, and all others who called her mom.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James L. Fitzgerald on February 8, 2013, a sister, Louise Ford, and a son-in-law, Jerry Garrett.

Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
