Adam Scott Erwin, 38, of Ghent, KY, died on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Mobile, Alabama from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born in Madison, Jefferson County, Indiana on July 17, 1982 the son of the late Leeroy Erwin and Darlene (Mahoney) Carriveau of Ghent, KY. He was a 2002 graduate of Carroll County High School. After his graduation he worked various jobs and most recently as a welder for various contractors at various locations across the United States. When he had free time, he enjoyed composing stories from his own personal thoughts. He loved to play the guitar and listen to older country music including one of his favorite artist Johnny Cash. Adam and his older daughter; Kristen had their favorite song that they always had to listen to together, “Paradise City” by the group Gun’s and Roses. He also enjoyed studying Karate.
He will be missed by his mother and step father; Darlene and Wade Carriveau of Ghent, KY, his two daughters; Kristen Erwin of Ghent, KY, and Lilly Erwin of Warsaw, KY, his brother; Chris Erwin and his wife; Ellen of Daphne, AL, his nephew; Braiden Toole of Daphne, AL, a sister; Andrea Schadd of Louisville, KY, and his maternal grandfather; Norman “Butch” Mack of Madison, IN.
He was preceded in death by his father; Leeroy Erwin on January 13, 1993, his maternal grandmother; Rosa “Rosie” Mack, his paternal grandmother; Mae Lewellyn, and his paternal step grandparents; Bob and Barbara Carriveau.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting our building occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy. We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements and all attendees will be required to wear a face mask.
