Albert "Shab" Arnold, 80, of Worthville, KY, died on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on October 23, 1934 in Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Rella and Allie Cottrell Arnold. He was a lifetime farmer and also had worked as a tobacco grader at the Grower's Warehouse in Carrollton. He had served as former member and Assistant Fire Chief at the Worthville Fire Department in Worthville, KY.
He served his country in the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Jean Godman Arnold of Worthville, KY, three daughters, Sharon Hunton Sexton of Carrollton, KY, Cynthia (Jerry) Hunton Werner of Prospect, KY, and Angelique Hunton Parker of Milton, KY, three brothers, J.D. Arnold of Worthville, KY, Charles Arnold of Fort Mitchell, KY and Clinton Arnold of Owenton, KY, a sister, Hazel Ingram of Beachwood, KY, six grandchildren, Ginny (Billy) Lair of Carrollton, Jason (Wendy) Campbell of Louisville, KY, Brian (Lindsay) Parker of Milton, KY, Sam (Julia) Parker of Milton, KY, Abagail Werner and Arabella Werner, both of Prospect, KY, two great grandchildren, Taylor and Brayden Lair of Carrollton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Eugene, Ira & R.C. Arnold, three sisters, Ruby Sachleban, Nolad and Mary Katherine Arnold.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, KY. Visitation was on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton. Burial was in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County F.F.A. Chapter or the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.
Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton, KY.
Burial will be in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY.
