Albion Arnold Smith, 83, of Sanders, Carroll County, KY died Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born on January 9, 1934 in Owen County, KY to Walter and Addie Bibb Smith. He was a member of Whites Run Baptist Church where he served as a trustee and was retired from Kawneer Corporation where he was the maintenance supervisor. Albion faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army from 1956-1958.
His survivors include his wife, Goldie B. Suter Smith, a daughter, Patricia (Jimmy) McEndre of Sanders, KY, two sons, Jeff (Sandra) Smith of Sanders, KY, Rick (Denise Jessee) Smith of Sanders, KY, a sister, Louise Miles of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Ike Smith of Carrollton, KY, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded death by his parents and a brother, Walter Thomas Smith.
Military Honors will be given by members of the Honor Guard of the American Legion Post #41, Carrollton, KY.
