Alice Wilson, born on September 14, 1936, in Carthage, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024, in Worthville, Kentucky. She lived a life dedicated to her family, her career, and her passions, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.
She spent many years as a devoted manager at John Silver's Restaurant, where she was known for her strong work and her dedication to providing a wonderful dining experience for her customers. Her colleagues would often speak of her kindness and leadership, which made her a beloved figure within the community.
Beyond her professional life, Alice was an avid crocheter and a true animal lover. Her hobbies reflected her nurturing spirit, and she found joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Alice is survived by her loving children, Monica Sexton, and Brenda Sullivan, both of Worthville, KY, and Mike Wilson of Ghent, KY. She is also remembered fondly by her half-sister, Ginny Kimberly of Vevay, IN, her fifteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren carry forward the warmth and love she shared throughout her life.
She reunites with her late family members, including her father, Joseph Henry O'Connor, Jr., her mother, Estes Florence O'Connor Penny, her husband, George "Doodle" Wilson, her sons, Danny, Billy, and John Stinson, her sisters, Marcella Wilson and Louise Sheldon and her brothers Patrick & Billy O'Connor.
A visitation will be held in her honor on November 6, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home, located at 809 Highland Ave, Carrollton, Kentucky 41008.
Alice Wilson will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, bearing witness to a life well-lived and a love that will endure.
