Alvin Aldridge, 79, of Sanders, KY., died on Monday morning, May 16, 2011 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
He was born on April 19, 1932 in Carroll County, KY., the son of the late Ernest Joseph Aldridge and Martha Garrett Raisor Aldridge. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his companion of 35 plus years, Joyce Snow of Sanders, KY., three daughters, Frances Marie Wentworth of Bedford, KY., Audrey Lee Preston of Pleasureville, KY., and Wanda Fay Banta of Bedford, KY., two sons, Ernest Joseph Aldridge of Bedford, KY., and Jerry Allen Aldridge of Waddie, KY., twenty grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Jessie Raisor, his brother, James Aldridge and a half brother, Jessie Thomas Raisor.
Funeral Services were on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Mahoney officiating the service. Burial was in the Worthville Cemetery in Worthville, KY.
Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
