Andrew Jackson

Andrew Franklin Jackson, age 82, of Carrollton, KY passed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the Robley Rex Veterans Administration Regional Medical Center in Louisville, KY.  He entered life on March 2, 1940, in Carroll County, KY, the son of Alva and Elizabeth Wright Jackson.  Andrew was a member of the Carrollton United Methodist Church and retired from the former Teledyne-Wirz factory as a prior foreman and head of the purchasing department. He also had worked at the pro-shop at General Butler State Resort Park Golf Course. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Joan Doll Jackson, whom he married in 1991, and three daughters; Deborah Garrett of Carrollton, KY, Kimberly (Terry Phelps) Garrett of Milton, KY, and Crystal (James) Montgomery of Carrollton, KY, and a brother; James Jackson of Carrollton, KY.  He is preceded in death by his stepmother, Martha Jackson.
