Anna Frances Taylor Grobmeier, 103, of Carrollton, KY., died on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab Center in Carrollton, KY. She was born on January 19, 1909 in Carroll County, KY., the daughter of the late Arthur Creed Taylor and Catherine Maddox Mathews Taylor. She was a retired sales clerk for The Carroll Shoppe in Carrollton. She was a member of the St. John Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society, Business Professional Woman's Club, Carroll County Homemakers and the Carroll County Hospital Auxiliary for over 40 years. She is survived by a daughter, Florence A. Wilson of Carrollton, KY., two sisters, Mary Katherine Lowrance of Jacksonville, FL., and Johanna Nees of Terra Haute, IN., two granddaughters, and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Florian Grobmeier on May 12, 1961, a infant daughter, four sisters, Daisy Thompson, Eula Harmon, Fay Davis, and Ella Jean Hardin, two brothers, Clyde and Fred Taylor. Mass of Christian Burial was on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating the service. Burial was in the St. John Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the St. John Food Pantry in care of the funeral home.

Visitation

Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Funeral

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Kavungal Davy officiating the service.

Interment

St. John Catholic Cemetery in Carrollton.
