Ashton Stephenson

Ashton Blake Stephenson,  age 14, of Carrollton, KY, died on Saturday, May 26, 2018, surrounded by his family and friends at the Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on December 30, 2003 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, the son of Shawn Michael Stephenson and Victoria “Torie” Jo Bond Stephenson of Carrollton, KY.  He was currently an 8th Grade Student at Carroll County Middle School.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton and was active in the Youth Group.

He loved baseball and basketball and participated with the Carroll County Panther Baseball Team, The Carroll County Panther Basketball Team, The Kentucky Panther’s Baseball Team and The Kentucky United Nation Association.

He enjoyed fishing, golfing, raising beef cattle and spending time with his family.

He will be missed by his parents, Shawn Michael Stephenson and Victoria “Torie” Jo Bond Stephenson of Carrollton, KY,  two brothers, Aden and Braden Stephenson, both of Carrollton, KY, two sisters, Alexis Stephenson and Hannah Stephenson, both of Carrollton, KY, his maternal grandmother, Teresa Jo Adams Bond of Carrollton, KY, his maternal grandfather, Gary Bond of Sparta, KY, his paternal grandparents, Jim and Elaine Marsh Stephenson of Carrollton, KY, his uncle and aunt, Jason and Robin Floyd Stephenson of Carrollton, KY, his great uncle and aunt, Darrell and Alice Marsh of Carrollton, KY, and his uncle, Cody Bond of Carrollton, KY.

He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Webb and Isabell Adams, Ralph and Dorothy Bond, his paternal great grandparents, George and Betty Marsh, Jesse and Mabel Stephenson.
