Barbara Jean Rassman, 66, of Bedford, KY., died on Friday afternoon, March 1, 2013 at her residence in Bedford, KY.
She was born on February 15, 1947 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH., the daughter of the late Jack Edmund Lovitt and Ada Dorothy Barnett Lovitt. She was a housewife and a homemaker. She was a member of the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.
She is survived by three daughters, Jeanna (Steve) Gossett of Henry County, KY., Angela (Juan) Fernandez of Carrollton, KY., and Christine J. (Ricky) Simmons of Bedford, KY., two sons, James Rassman, Jr. of Carrollton, KY., and Rev. David (Sheri) Story of Cincinnati, OH., three brothers, Ray and Ron Lovitt, both of Frankfort, KY., and Don Lovitt of Arizona, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren, eleven beloved dogs and three cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James Stewart Rassman, Sr. on June 29, 2010, a brother, Ken Lovitt.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Phoenix Animal Clinic or Hosparus in care of the funeral home.
Visitation
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Family Worship Center in Carrollton.
