Barbara Williams
August 31, 1948 — June 9, 2009
Barbara K. Williams, 60, was born in Corbin, KY., on August 31, 1948 to the late Willard Clayton and Grace Kathleen Peterson Williams. She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and retired from the Carroll County School System where she was the Carroll County Middle School Librarian. Barbara was also a member of the Carrollton Christian Church and served as church treasurer, a member of the Carrollton Homemakers and the Red Hat Society of Carrollton.
Survivors include her sister; Virginia A. Ebel of Louisville, KY, a half-brother; Donald Clay Williams of Louisville, KY, a niece; Christi Doerhoefer of Newport, KY and a nephew; Steve Doerhoefer of Sharpsburg, GA.
Dr. Bob Brocious, Pastor of Carrollton Christian Church officiated memorial services on Friday, June 12, 2009 at the Church.
Burial was in the Corinth Cemetery in Corbin, KY.
