Bennie Meadows

Bennie Wayne Meadows, 71, of Carrollton, KY, died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
He was born on July 25, 1943 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Bennie Meadows and Ruby Patton Meadows Graham. He was a retired Lockmaster for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers at the Markland Dam. He served his country in the United States Navy from July 18, 1961 to July 22, 1964. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the Carrollton American Legion Post #41. He attended Family Worship Center in Carrollton.
He is survived by two daughters, Monica Meadows (Tim Hayden) of Ghent, KY, and Shelley (David) Craig of Carrollton, KY, a son, Ben Meadows of Carrollton, KY, a brother, Steve (Violet) Meadows of Carrollton, KY, a sister, Sharon Sue (Michael) Hartman of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Ronnie Meadows in 2014, a sister, Oueda Jane Patton.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Family Worship Center with the Rev. Pat Butcher officiating the service. Visitation was on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Family Worship Center. Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
