Bernice E. Smith, 89, died on Friday, August 15, 2008 at the Green Valley Health and Rehab. Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born December 10, 1918 in Covington, KY., the daughter of the late Lewis and Virginia Marsh. Bernice was a former sales associate. Survivors include two son's; Robert Smith of Sanders, KY., and Roanld Colwell of Ft.Wright, KY., two brothers; Fredrick Marsh of Winter Haven, FL., and Ralph Marsh of Hebron, KY., and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Monroe "Chuck" Smith in 1993, her son; Keith Colwell in 1987, a sister; Nancy Thompson and Majorie Dawson, four brothers; Holbert, Weller, Harlan and Bud Marsh.
Graveside Services were at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 18, 2008 at the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Covington, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
