Bessie Josphine Mahoney, 86, of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at the Green Valley Health and Rehab. Center in Carrollton.
She was born on May 28, 1923 in Trimble County, KY., the daughter of the late Walter F. and Gertrude Ball Proctor. Bessie was a former Day Care worker and a member of the Poplar Ridge Baptist Church in Trimble County, KY.
She is survived by a daughter; Claudia Crutcher of Carrollton, KY., and a son; Bill Mahoney of Carrolllton, KY., a brother; Walter "Bud" Proctor of Carrollton, KY., thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Floyd Stanton Mahoney, a daughter; Connie True "Trudy" Mahoney, a son; Floyd Allen Mahoney, three sisters; Magnolia Perry, Claudia Crafton and Harriett Proctor, three brothers; Harry Tom, Charles and James "Jim" Proctor.
Funeral Services were on Saturday, January 2, 2010 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Bedford Cemetery in Bedford, KY..
