Bessie Mae Mefford, age 99, formerly of LaGrange, Oldham County, KY died Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Signature Health Care in Carrollton, KY. She was born in Owen County, KY on July 16, 1917 to the late Clarence and Edith Ennis Bolling. She was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church in LaGrange, KY and was retired deputy clerk for the Oldham County Clerk's office.
She is survived by; a daughter, Marlene Willard of Crestwood, KY, son, Tommy Mefford of Union, KY, 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Claude Thomas Mefford, a daughter, Darlene Heilman, a son, Dallas Mefford, sisters, Alberta Graves and Claudine Tingle, brother, William Dallas Bolling, a grandson, James Thomas Mefford and great grandchild, Carrie Jo Mefford, and her step-father Arthur Breeden.
