Betty Gordon

Betty Jean May Gordon, 89, of Milton, KY, formerly of Carrollton, KY, passed this life on March 2, 2022, at home surrounded by her family.

She was a homemaker and caregiver to shut ins.  She loved to sew, work jigsaw and crossword puzzles and read her Bible.  Betty was of the Apostolic Pentecostal faith, baptized in Jesus’ name.  Her greatest joy was to see her children saved.

Betty is survived by two daughters, Betty Darlene (Danny) Payton of Carrollton, KY, and Joanie Kay (Wesley) Day of Milton, KY, four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Forest B. “Pud” Gordon, two sons, Sammy Ray Gordon and Elmer Anthony “Chuck” Gordon, and her sister, Velma Jean May Craig.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
