Brenda Riley

Brenda Lou Riley, 62, died on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on July 11, 1960, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, the daughter of the late James Milton Walker and Mary Rea Neville Walker.  She had formerly worked for Wal-Mart in Carrollton for several years in the sporting goods department until her health declined.  In her spare time, she enjoyed raising flowers and her garden vegetables.  She loved watching television and coming up with questions for “Google” to see if they could be answered.

Brenda is survived by her husband, John Wayne Riley of Carrollton, KY, to whom she married on March 17, 1984, her son, Jason Ken (Jennifer) Walker of Dry Ridge, KY, a daughter, Tiffany (Matt) Adams of Sanders, KY,  a niece who was raised like her daughter, Amy Williamson of Carrollton, KY, brothers, Donnie Walker of Ghent, KY, Russell Walker of Martinsville, IN, Jerry Walker of Bloomington, IN, George Walker of Carrollton, KY, Billy Walker of Carrollton, KY, and John Walker of Milton, KY, sisters, Joyce Mahoney of Carrollton, KY, and Mary Brummett of Indiana, along with thirteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Linda Shay, Martha Walker, and Patricia Walker, two brothers, Mike Walker, and James Walker.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
