Carol Ball

Carol Ann Ball, 72, of Burlington, KY, formerly of Carrollton, KY, died on Monday, June 18, 2018 with her family by her side in Burlington, KY.

She was born on April 26, 1946 in Marshalltown, Marshall County, IA, the daughter of the late Marvin William Uhde and Ruth Jeannette (Johnson) Uhde.  She had retired from the Carroll County Board of Education having worked as a  Cafeteria Cook for the school system.   She had previously worked for Kentucky Ladder Co. in Carrollton as  as a machine operator.  She was of the Baptist faith.

She will be missed by two sons, Troy Douglas Ball of Dayton, OH, and Jay (Dawn) Christopher Ball of Burlington, KY, a daughter, Dana Jeannette Smith of Independence, KY, a brother, William Marvin Uhde of Monument, CO, nine grandchildren and one great grandchild also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Douglas Ball on July 17, 2017, and two sisters, Bonnie Sanders and Cheryle Uhde.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
