Carole Kring

Carole Jean Kring, 85, died peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2011, surrounded by her family at the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Unit in Lexington, KY.

A gentle soul, Mrs. Kring was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born in Russelville, AR., to Roy and Maxine Garrigus on March 11, 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Austin T. Kring (Ret. U.S. Army) and a sister, Gayle Schwieger.

Mrs. Kring is survived by a son, Austin T. Kring, Jr. (Sue) of Lexington, KY., a dauughter, Karen Jo Boston (Leslie) of Greens Cove Springs, FL., and a son, Kenneth L. Kring(Mary Susan) of Georgetown, KY., grandchildren, Sue Beth Brown, David Kring, Vanessa Boston, Kendra Drake, Allyson Corman, and Lindsay Harrell, and great grandchildren, Owen Pollard, Jack Pollard, Hannah Kring, Austin Kring III, and Gavin Drake.

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Wesley Kring officiating the service Burial was in Ghent Masonic Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Hospice of the Bluegrass. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
