Carolyn Buckles

Carolyn Kay Buckles, 50, of Carrollton, KY, died on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She was born on March 26, 1964 in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY, she was the daughter of James William Devine of Port Royal, KY, and the late Norma Jean (Hicks) Devine. She attended Carroll County Schools. She had spent many years working at the General Butler State Park and Resort in Carrollton as a Cook and in Food Preparation. She was the former Assistant Manager for the former Churchill Manor Restaurant in Carrollton. She attended Carrollton Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Buckles of Carrollton, a daughter, Desree Lynn Butcher (Husband Stephen) of Carrollton, KY,, a son, Cory Keel (Fiancé©' Jessica Douglas) of Vevay, IN,two brothers, Ricky Devine and Jerry Devine of Carrollton, KY, three sisters, Judy Kemper, Paula Hanlon and Sandy Spencer, all of Carrollton, KY, five grandchildren, a her three precious pups, Scooter, Pebbles & Gidgit.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral Services were on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation was on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the English Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center in care of the funeral home.

Visitation

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
