Chad Alan Wainscott

Chad Alan Wainscott, also known as "Little Chigger" by his family as he followed in his Grandfather "Chig's" footsteps,  a beloved member of Wheatley and Carrollton communities, passed away on June 29, 2024, in Carrollton, Carroll County, KY.  He was born on April 25, 1974, in Carrollton to his proud parents Jerry Wayne and Anita Juel Simmons Wainscott.

Throughout his life, Chad embarked on various career paths that showcased his hardworking nature and dedication. Starting as a mechanic for Earl Floyd Ford, he later transitioned to working with his father in remodeling homes. He also drove for IMI and was formerly employed at NAS, leaving an indelible mark in each role he undertook.  Over the last several years he had just enjoyed working on the farm with his Dad.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Chad found solace in his faith as a member of the Dallasburg Baptist Church in Wheatley, KY. His love for the outdoors defined him, with some of his favorite pastimes including hunting, collecting guns, hats & knives, searching for four leaf clovers, and capturing the beauty of sunsets and cows through photography. Chad was known to be most happiest outdoors.

Chad's warm smile and infectious personality will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Cortney (Dustin) Burke of Owenton, KY; cherished son, Coltin Wainscott of Florence, KY; devoted parents, Jerry Wayne and Anita Juel Simmons Wainscott of Wheatley, KY; dear brother Jason (Robbyn) Wainscott of Owenton, KY; and his adored grandson Lance Edward Burke of Owenton, KY, and two nephews, Dylan and Landon Wainscott of Owenton, KY.
