Charles Oak

Charles Edward Oak, 63, of Carrollton, KY died on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his home in Carrollton, KY.

He was born on September 26, 1956 in Carrollton, KY, the son of the late James E. Oak and Margaret Walker Oak.  He had formerly worked for Evans Construction Company at the Kentucky Utilities Power Plant in Ghent, KY.  He had also enjoyed doing farm work.  He was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church.

He will be missed by his wife; Debbie Duncan Oak of Carrollton, KY, two son’s; Dallen Oak of Carrollton, KY and Charles Oak, Jr. of Carrollton, KY, a daughter; Mindy Oak and her Fiancé’, Matthew Martin of Carrollton, KY, two brothers; John Oak of Carrollton, KY and Gerald Oak of Florence, KY, four sisters; Evelyn Oak of Carrollton, KY, Pauline Oak of Wyoming, Christine Frieley of Louisville, KY, and Cindy Oak of Carrollton, KY, also two grandchildren survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers; Robert E. Oak, James R. Oak, Donald Oak and Jerry Oak, four sisters; Shirley Riley, Barbara J. Woods, Edith Furnish and Charlotte Hester.

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions and the new reopening requirements we will be limiting the funeral home occupancy to 50% of normal capacity, so please be prepared for a possible line as we will be monitoring the occupancy.  We will also be strictly adhering to the 6 feet social distancing requirements.  We also request that attendees MUST wear a face mask while attending, unless a medical condition prevents you from wearing one.
