Charles Eugene Fox, 83, of Pompano Beach, FL, formerly of Milton, KY, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.
Charles was born on June 20, 1930 in Milton, KY, to Eugene & Mary Fox. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge in Milton, KY and was retired from Local 675 Operating Engineers and the City of Pompano Beach. Charles was a former City Police Judge in Milton, KY and was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach, FL.
He is survived by his loving wife, Doris (Tilley) Fox of Pompano Beach, FL, daughters, Kim Ecklond (Charles) of Delray Beach, FL, Gwendolyn Holbrook (Robert) of Pompano Beach, FL and Toleiha Williamson of Pompano Beach, FL, son, Christopher Fox (Merian) of Branford, FL, grandchildren, Travis, Shane, Scott, Lance, Robert, Jared, Joshua, Stephen, Justin, Eric, B.J., and Teddy: great - grandchildren, Devin, Hunter, Bridget, Peyton, Axel, Fallon, Gretchen, Logan, Brycen and Anthony; and brother, Jimmy Fox (Sandy) of Carrollton, KY.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son-in-law, Randall Williamson and his great granddaughter, Helena Ecklond.
The service celebrating Charles' life was held on Monday, May 19, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Chris White officiating the service. Burial took place in the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, KY.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the First Baptist Church of Pompano Beach renovation fund, 138 NE 1st Street, Pompano Beach, FL 33060.
Local arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
