Charles French

Charles E. French, 63, of Carrollton, KY died on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at the Hospice of St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. He was born on November 13, 1950 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY, the son of the late Joseph Cleo French and Doris Christine Puckett French. He was a former Chemist at ChemTreat Inc. in the water treatment department. He had also worked as a teacher in the Carroll County Public Schools. He was chairman of the Carroll County Republican Party. He had served on the Carrollton Board of Adjustment, the Carrollton Housing Authority and the Carroll County Board of Elections. He was a member of the Port William Historical Society in Carrollton. He is survived by two brothers, James French of Jackson, TN, and Rodger French of Arlington, VA, along with several friends throughout the local area. Funeral Services will be on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Bidwell officiating the service. Visitation will be on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 A.M. (E.S.T.) on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Sturgeon Family Cemetery in Munfordville, KY. Arrangements are entrusted at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be on Monday, November 10, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
