Charles Kindoll

Charles Eugene "Gene" Kindoll, 77, of Carrollton, KY., died on September 29, 2009 at Baptist Hospital Northeast in LaGrange, KY.
Gene was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, Ky., on March 7, 1932 to Otis and Bessie Kindle Kindoll. He retired in 1984 as a truck driver for Motor Convoy and was a member of Teamsters Local 89. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include: four daughters; Gayla Tomlinson, Barbara Shepherd, Vicki Hughes and Sandy Harmon all of Carrollton, KY., five sons; Bradley Kindoll, Gary "Tick" Kindoll, Randy Kindoll, Larry Kindoll and Ricky Kindoll all of Carrollton, KY., three sisters; Velma Taylor of Carrollton, KY., Geneva Smith of Miamisburg, OH., and Joy Raisor of Louisville, KY., 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death: his parents, his wife, Willanna Berry Kindoll, a sister, Corine Trinkle, and brothers Otis Kindoll and Elmer Kindoll.
Bro. Carroll "Bimp" McAlister officiated services on Friday, October 2, 2009 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the Port Royal Cemetery.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
