Charlie Sandlin, 73, of Worthville, KY, died on Monday, December 23, 2019 at this residence in Worthville, KY.

He was born on June 18, 1946 in Owsley County, KY, the son of the late Andy and Gertrude Couch Sandlin.  Over the last several years he had worked on a private farm and also had worked at the former Kentucky Ladder Plant in Carrollton in the Production Department.  In his spare time he enjoyed sight seeing, fishing and hunting and collecting ginseng.  He was a member of the Monterey Baptist Church in Monterey, KY.

He will be missed by his daughter; Linda (Greg) Wilson of Worthville, KY, three sons; Charles, Jr. (Linda) Sandlin of Ghent, KY, Donnie (Michele) Sandlin of Hanover, IN, and Richard (Glenis) Sandlin of Worthville, KY, a brother; Fred Sandlin of Manchester, KY, four grandchildren, Chasity Sandlin, Donnie Sandlin, Linday Wilson and Emily Sandlin, a great grandchild; Bryson Grant Edmondson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Mildred Alice Burford Sandlin on July 7, 2017.
