Chester Hunter

Chester Lee Hunter, 73, of Port Royal, Henry County, KY, died on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Baptist Health in LaGrange, KY.

He was born on March 9, 1941 in Worthville, Carroll County, KY, the son of the late Connie and Lillie Mae Humble Hunter. He was retired from Farming and had also been a Brick and Block Mason. He was a member of the Port Royal United Methodist Church in Port Royal.

He is survived by a daughter, Allissha Chantel Crawford of Turners Station, KY, a son, Darin Patrick Hunter of Shelbyville, KY, three sisters, Lillian Warfield of Carrollton, KY, Agnes Smith of Carrollton, KY, and Evelyn Frances Vick of Hampton, VA, a brother, Gene Hunter of Worthville, KY, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirlene "Shirley" Hunter in 2005, a son, Timothy Lane Hunter, a sister, Mary Ellen Hunt and four brothers, William, Hubert, Douglas and Richard Hunter.

Funeral Services were on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Ron Laughlin officiating the service. Burial was in the Port Royal Cemetery in Port Royal, KY.

In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to Hosparus of Louisville in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
