Christine Dorten

Christine Dorten, 82, of Warsaw, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Tuesday evening at the Gallatin Health Care Center in Warsaw, KY.

She was born on May 16, 1925 the daughter of the late Tommy and Eleanor Baker Estes. Christine was a homemaker and housewife. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Carrollton, the United Methodist Church Choir, United Methodist Women, Past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star - Carrollton, KY, Leader of M.Y. Fellowship, Ghent Homemakers Club, Madison Bowling League and Madison Golf League.

Christine will be missed by her loving husband; Cecil H. Dorten, three daughters; Nancy Raisor of Jeffersonville, IN., Mary Pat Williamson of Victoria, TX., and Judy Tumbrink of Memphis, TN., a son; Glenn Dorten of Lexington, KY., a sister; Aline Clark of Louisville, KY., along with ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son; Cecil Lee Dorten and one sister; Beatrice Estes.

Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
