Christine Roberts, 100, formerly of Sanders, KY., died on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at the Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on December 11, 1909 in Sanders, KY. Mrs. Roberts was a retired school teacher for the Carroll County Board of Education and a lifetime member of the Sanders Baptist Church.
Mrs. Roberts will be missed by her daughters; Janet (Lester) Adams and Annette (Richard) Petri along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; George B. Roberts.
The Rev. Hardin Lowe will officiate local funeral services at the Sanders Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the Sanders Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Ghent Masonic Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Sanders Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
Local arrangements are being entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
