Daisy L. McDowell, 92, of Carrollton, KY., died on Sunday evening, January 29, 2012 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab Center in Carrollton, KY.
She was born on May 13, 1919 in Trimble County, KY., the daughter of the late Ira and Jane Johnson Robbins. She was the widow of the late Floyd Wilbur McDowell. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, David McDowell of Carrollton, KY., a brother, Jasper "Buddy" Robbins of Worthville, KY., and one special cousin, Linda Hackney Newby, Bedford, Ky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a infant a daughter, Nellie Gulley, son, Robert Lee McDowell, sisters, Anna Robbins, Lena Robbins, and Betty Lou Burgess, two infant sisters also preceded her in death.
A Graveside Service will be on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Milton, KY. Cremation has been chosen by the family.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
