Dale Beard

Dale A. Beard, 66, of Hanover, IN, formerly of Carrollton, KY, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.

He was born on April 2, 1948 in LaGrange, Oldham County, KY, the son of the late Joseph Earl Beard and Velma Lee Spurr Beard. He was a self employed auto mechanic. He was of the Christian Faith.

He is survived by four sons, Christopher Dale Beard of Carrollton, KY, Richard Shane Popp of Louisville, KY, Shawn Bishop and Andrew Beard of Carrollton, KY, two daughters, Samantha Horine of Carrollton, KY, and Stephanie Lynn Hudson of Bennington, IN, three brothers, Wayne Beard of Pigeon Forge, TN, Mike Beard of Milton, KY, and Paul Beard of Hanover, IN, a sister, Nancy Jo Baker of Mena, AR, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services were on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation was from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the funeral home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Dale Beard Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.

Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M.-1:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the funeral home.
