Daniel Robert Sabelhaus

  Daniel Robert Sabelhaus, of Carrollton, KY, passed on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

  He was born on October 29, 1958, in Erlanger, Kenton County, KY, the son of the late William Sabelhaus and Carol Tedford Sabelhaus.  Dan was a graduate of Carroll County High School and in his early years attended St.  John Catholic Church in Carrollton.  He had worked as a bus driver with the Carroll County Board of Education for several years.  Dan had worked for Jefferson Community and Technical College in the maintenance and security department at the Carrollton Campus, and most recently he had worked for Advance Auto Parts Store in Carrollton in the sales and delivery department.

  Dan enjoyed keeping his yard trimmed, tinkering with old cars, he loved all kinds of animals and taking walks with his dog Britton.  He also loved farming when his health permitted and listening to music.

  Survivors include his wife; Lynn Lloyd Sabelhaus of Carrollton, KY, two sons’; Nicholas Scott Sabelhaus and Chris Wainscott, both of Carrollton.  His extended family includes two nieces; Chelsea Young and Deanna Weeks, and four nephews; Kenneth Atkins, Josh Morley, Andrew Sabelhaus and Hunter Morley.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Judy Sabelhaus Morley and a brother; Mark Sabelhaus.

  Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
