Dean Holte

Dean Russell Holte, age 78, of Sparta, KY, formerly of Flagstaff, AZ, departed this life on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.  He entered life in Chicago, IL on August 19, 1943 to John Lewis and Ethelreda Mary Schafer Holte.  Mr. Holte was a member of the English Christian Church and a retired registered nurse working at Flagstaff Medical Center for 20 years , served as a medic for 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of SMSGT. He was also an avid golfer.

His survivors include his wife; Nancy Little Holte, a daughter; Sharron Elizabeth (Mark) Robinson of Sparta, KY, a son; Michael Dean (Joan) Holte of Portland, OR, a brother; David Holte of Atwater, CA, four grandchildren; Andrew Robinson, Michael Robinson, Samantha Robinson and Emmet Holte.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister; Diane Kitchens and four brothers; Dennis Holte, Dale Holte, Duane Holte and Donald Holte.
