Deborah LaVerne "Debbie" Smith Reed. 64. of Carrollton, KY, died on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at her residence in Carrollton.
She was born on July 29, 1951 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the daughter of the late Elmer and Nadine Mefford Smith. She was disabled but had worked in the clothing retail business. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Dermon of Carrollton, KY, a son, Chris Buckley of Louisville, KY, two sisters, Candi Noble of Carrollton, KY, and Rhonda Smith of Warsaw, KY, four brothers, Victor Smith of Georgetown, KY, Dennis Smith of Carrollton, KY, Tony Smith of Independence, KY and Ronnie Smith of Carrollton, KY, two grandchildren, Matthew Dermon and Nicholas Dermon, both of Carrollton, KY, a great grandchild, Oliver Dermon of Carrollton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gary E. Reed, and a brother, Danny Smith.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Visitation
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
Funeral
Funeral Services will be on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Rogers officiating the service.
Interment
Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
