Dennis Skirvin

Dennis Wayne Skirvin, 52, of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, May 5, 2008 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, IN.

Dennis was born in Covington, KY., on May 5, 1956 to Calvin Skirvin of Nashville, TN., and Barbara Louise Ashcraft Brasfield of Madison, IN. He was a member of the Pentecostal faith, the Jefferson Post #9 American Legion in Madison, IN, Tadmore Lodge #108, F&AM in Warsaw, Ky and the Scottish Rite in Covington, KY.

He is Survived by a son, Dennis Wayne Skirvin, II of Texas; daughters, Angela Skirvin of Chicago, IL, Dawn Marie Osinger Jefferies of Greensburg, KY and Jennifer Lynn Skirvin of Bedford, KY; brothers, James Skirvin of Clarksville, TN, Darrell Skirvin of Carrollton, KY, Mark Skirvin - Warsaw, KY, David Skirvin of Carrollton, KY and Randall Brasfield of Chicago, IL; a sister, Constance Schott of Madison, IN; Father, Calvin Skirvin of Nashville, TN and Mother Barbara Louise Ashcraft Brasfield of Madison, IN. Eleven Grandchildren also survive.

Preceding him in death was a brother, Gary Lee Skirvin and a sister, Pamela Rose Skirvin.

Funeral Services were conducted on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Adam Faulkner officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Carrollton, KY.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
