Sanders

Diane Jean Moore, of Sanders, Carroll County, Kentucky, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, peacefully passed away on Monday, November 18, 2024, in Warsaw, Gallatin County, Kentucky, at the age of 77. Born on January 18, 1947, in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio, Diane was the cherished daughter of Eugene Rich and Clara Burton Rich, who preceded her in death.

Diane made a significant mark on her community through her dedication to local businesses. She owned Booth's Cafe for many years and also managed the Sparta Motel, as well as helping to manage Eagle Valley Campground for several years. Her commitment to these establishments left a lasting impression on the patrons she served and the colleagues she mentored throughout her career.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Diane was a woman of many passions. She found joy in nurturing her flowers, playing bingo, and enjoying the thrill of the casino riverboat. Dancing brought her much happiness, and she was a proud supporter of the University of Kentucky and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Diane is survived by her loving husband, Danny Moore of Sanders, Kentucky; her devoted daughter, Kim (Dwayne) Chappell of Worthville, Kentucky; and her son, Winnie Booth (Crystal O'Connor) of Carrollton, Kentucky. She cherished her role as a grandmother to Brent Booth (Ashley Morris) of Carrollton, Kentucky, and found immense joy in her two great-grandchildren, Joslyn Booth and Dawson Caves.

She is also remembered fondly by her four sisters: Patti Horton of Harrison, Ohio, Sue Galloway of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carol Valentour of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Freda Sanderson of Harrison, Ohio, and a brother, Vernon Rich of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Preceding her in death along with her parents are two brothers, Bethel Rich and Joe Wade.

Diane's legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched throughout her life.
