Donald "Don" Glenn Short, 64, of North Vernon, IN., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
He was born on August 15, 1947 in Richmond, Madison County, KY., the son of the late Neville and Virginia Reynolds Short. He was a retired Carpenter. He was a member of the American Legion Post #9 in Madison, IN., and the Local Carpenters Union.
He is survived by a Daughter, Carla (Bubby) Luhn of Scipio, IN., a brother, James Wesley "West" Short of Yankeetown, FL., four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mildred Ashcraft, brothers, Carl and Stewart Short and one grandchild.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
