Doris Ellen Allen, age 53, of Carrollton, KY., died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at her residence in Carrollton, KY.
She was born in Carrollton, Carroll County, Ky on December 26, 1953 to Leonard Lee and Mary Elizabeth Palmer Banks, who have preceded her in death. She was a member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church, Manager of the Pro Shop at General Butler State Resort Park, designated as a "Friend of Rotary" by the Carrollton Rotary Club for all of her assistance with their Rotary Scholarship Golf Scramble and was Past President of the American Legion Post 41 Ladies Auxiliary.
Her survivors include her husband, Ronald E. Allen, a son; Jason Ray Coghill of Carrollton, KY, her sister; Margaret Kinman of Carrollton, KY, and her brothers; Ronald Banks of Carrollton, Ky and Raymond Banks of Carrollton, KY and one grandchild.
The Rev. Joe Kindoll officiated the funeral service on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial followed the service at the English Cemetery.
The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
