Doris Wright

Doris Wright, 95, died on Thursday evening at the Green Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Carrollton, KY.

She was born in English, KY., the daughter of the late J.T. and Lucy (Pillow) Clark. Doris was a housewife and was the oldest member of the English Christian Church. She was also a 50 plus year member of the Carroll County Homemakers and the Henry County Senior Citizens group.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law; Mary Willoughby Wright of Carrollton, KY., three grand daughters; Barbara Dunn of Carrollton, KY., Brenda Stewart of Worthville, KY., and Jean McCallister of Carrollton, KY., seven great grandchildren and fifteen great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Dalton Wright,a son; Nelson Eugene Wright on June 26, 2000 a sister; Edna Pyles Calvert and two brothers; Lemuel and Woodrow Clark.

Memorial Gifts may be given to the English Christian Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
