Dorothy Dawson Stewart "Dottie" Popp, age 70, died Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the Fairview Place Assisted Living Center in Carrollton, KY. She was born in LaGrange, Oldham County, KY to the late Ben and Jane Dawson Stewart on October 27, 1944. Dottie was a member of the English Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters; Yolonda "Yogi" (Merle) Smith of Turners Station, KY and Tammy Meyer of Augusta, Maine, a brother; Joe Leslie Stewart of Port Royal, KY, a granddaughter; Kristian Smith (Brannon) Brock of Carrollton, KY and 3 other grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Daniel Ray Popp (July 21, 2009), an infant brother; Estill Stewart and a great grandson; Gauge Chrisman Brock (February 20, 2008).
