Dorothy M. Robbins, 70, of Carrollton, KY., died on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at the Green Valley Health & Rehab. Center in Carrollton.
She was born on March 13, 1940 in English, Carroll County, KY., the daughter of the late Alvin Palmer & Betty Thurman Palmer. She was of the Baptist faith and a homemaker. She was a volunteer for 35 years with the Carroll County Head Start and also the Carroll County Relay For Life.
She is survived by four daughters; Debbie (Joe) Roth, Annie (Robert) Valetine, Nancy Robbins and Lisa (Joey) Robbins all of Carrollton., KY., a brother; Billy Palmer of Indianapolis, IN., five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Marvin L. Robbins, sisters; Mary Banks & Betty Jo Davis, brothers; Alvin Palmer, Jr. & Leroy Palmer.
Funeral Services were on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Herb Kinman will officiated the services. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Carroll County Relay for Life, in care of funeral home.
Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
