Earl "E.J." Alcorn, 69, of Verona, KY., died on Monday, August 16, 2010 at his residence in Verona, KY.
He is survived by his wife; Susan Kemper Alcorn of Verona, KY., his son; Steve Alcorn of Park Hills, KY., Daughters; Kim Jennings of Ghent, KY., Patty Cozine of Sparta, KY., and Tracy Stark of Carrollton, KY., his mother; Margaret Cain of Warsaw, KY., along with five grandchildren.
Memorial Gifts may be given to the American Cancer Society, 297 Buttermilk Pike, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stith Funeral Home in Florence, KY. Vistitation will be from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. on Friday evening, August 20, 2010 and from 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. on Saturday at the Stith Funeral Home in Florence.
E.J. and Susan were former owners of the Blosson Shop in Carrollton and were instrumental in moving it to it's current location on Highyway 227 in Carrollton. The staff of the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home would like to offer our condolences to Alcorn and Kemper families.
