Earl Peebles

Earl Edwards Peebles, age 78, of Carrollton, KY died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the Providence Health Care Gallatin. He was born on December 4, 1936 in Erlanger, Boone County, KY to Charles William and Lucretia Proctor Peebles (Montoya). He was of the Baptist faith, enjoyed flying small airplanes, was Past President of the Carrollton Lions Club and was a substitute teacher in Carroll and Gallatin Counties. He was a retired TecSgt. in the U. S. Air Force where he was an electrician, serving from 1955 to 1975. Earl also previously owned and operated The Shoe Box in Carrollton for several years.

Survivors include: two daughters; Marie Satchwell of Carrollton, KY and Jackie Sanders of Biloxi, MS, two sisters; Jean Meadows of Carrollton, KY and Ruth Hambrick of Madison, IN, a brother; Carl Peebles of St. Petersburg, FL and a half-brother; Johnny Peebles of Chicago, IL, 4 grandchildren; Laura Beth Willhoite of Carrollton, KY, Seth Edwards Hill of Carrollton, KY, Keith Peebles of Biloxi, MS and Paige Sanders of Biloxi, MS and 4 great grandchildren; Chloe Peebles of Biloxi, MS, Hagan Willhoite of Carrollton, KY, Zoey Willhoite of Carrollton, KY and Brantlee Hill of Carrollton, KY. He was preceded in death by his father; Charles William Peebles and his mother; Lucretia Montoya.
