Edith Yvonne Dunn Warren

Edith Yvonne Dunn Warren, 86, of Carrollton, KY, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Carrollton.

She was born on August 16, 1936, in Campbellsburg, KY, the daughter of the late Ray B. Dunn and Mary Hamilton Dunn. Edith had formerly worked as a Manager at the McDonald's Restaurant in Carrollton for several years and had also worked in management for the Dollar General Store in Carrollton. She had enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

Edith was an established member of the Cove Hill Baptist Church, where she had taught Sunday School for over 25 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading, and working puzzles in her spare time.

Survivors include her son, David W. (Kelly) Warren of Sanders, KY; two daughters, Verna R. (Bobby) Richmond and Cindy F. (Randy) Robbins, all of Carrollton; three brothers, Jay (Lucille) Dunn of Hanover, IN; Cecil (Dixie) Dunn of Madison, IN; Arthur Ray (Jo) Dunn of Madison, IN; a sister, Donna Brawner of Madison, IN; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Lee "Bob" Warren, and her son, Steven Dewitt "Stevie" Warren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Carroll County Food Pantry in the care of the funeral home.
