Edith Lynn Gordon, 59, of Sparta, KY, died on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at her residence.
She was born on February 18, 1958 in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, the daughter of the late James Smitha and Mary Meeks. She was a former manager for Cowgirls Convenience Store. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Christina Hatfield of Carrollton, KY, three sisters, Sherry Hoopengarner of Carrollton, KY, Sue Courtney of Sparta, KY, and Donna Dennis of Warsaw, KY, three brothers, Mike Hoopengarner of Carrollton, KY, Terry Hoopengarner of Milton, KY, and James Smitha of Sparta, KY, four grandchildren also survive, along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Hoopengarner.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home in her memory to help assist with financial cost.
