Edward Moore Montgomery, Jr., 58, of Cincinnati, OH, died on Sunday, May 1, 2016 in Cincinnati, OH. He was born on December 24, 1957 in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, OH, the son of the late Edward Moore Montgomery, SR. and Marian Doris Dunkman Montgomery. He was spent most of his career as a Firefighter and E.M.T. in the Cincinnati area at various fire departments. He was a very knowledgeable person in the fire science field, he had spent many hours over his career doing fire scene photography in studying the cause's and origins of fire behavior. He received many awards and certifications for his work in this area and in fire fighting in general. He also had a passion for weather spotting and was trained in this field, he would often times call a family member or friends at any time of the day if he seen inclement weather heading in their direction know matter what part of the country they may have lived in or no what time of day it may have been. He was a member of the United Church of Christ in Miami Township, OH, the I.O.K. 4 Wheelers Club, and also various scanner clubs throughout the country, listening to multiple scanners at the same time was a passion of his. He is survived by his cousin and caregiver, Carol Kincaid and her husband, Danny of Carrollton, KY, along with many other distant family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Arrangements are entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
At his request, Cremation has been chosen with private services for family only.
