Edwinna Grimes

Edwinna M. "Winnie" Grimes, 85, of Carrollton, KY, died on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Davis Elderly Care Center in Hanover, IN.
Winnie was born October 26, 1928 in Gallatin County, KY to the late Robert F. and Ann T. Hopkins Martin. She was retired as a deputy clerk at the Carroll County Circuit Clerk's office and also as a partner in Martin's Nursery in Carrollton, KY. She also was a member of the Carrollton Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons; Edwin R. (Leatha) Grimes of Carrollton, KY and Jerry L. (Rita) Grimes of Frankfort, KY and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; Frank L. Grimes in March 2000, two sisters; Joann Martin and Martha Wheeler and a brother; Raymond F. "Tom" Martin and one granddaughter.
Funeral Services were on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with Dr. Chris White officiating the service. Visitation was on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton.
