Elizabeth Rosella Martin, 69, died on Monday, January 2, 2012 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
She was born on April 18, 1942 in Carrollton, KY., the daughter of the late James J. Hicks and Anna Marie O'Conner Hicks. She was a housewife and a former Pastor.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Martin of Worthville, KY., her daughter, Suzanna Jones of Glencoe, KY., two sons, Ernie Ligon and Joshua David Martin both of Worthville, KY., a sister, Sharon Riley of Bedford, KY., three brothers, Raymond Hicks and Richard Hicks both of Carrollton, KY., and Bennie Hicks of Grant Co., KY., seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her three sisters, Rita Phillips, Barbara Mattingly and Bonnie Carter, three brothers, James, George and Jack Hicks.
Funeral Services were on Friday, January 6, 2011 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Martin Family in care of the funeral home.
Arrangements were entrusted with the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home.
