Elizabeth McGuire

Elizabeth Ann "Betty" McGuire, 64, of Carrollton, KY, died on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at her residence in Carrollton.

She was born on July 26, 1949 in Hamilton, Butler County, OH, the daughter of the late Hubert and Thelma Ruth Barnes. She was a former waitress at the former Della Rosa Pizza in Carrollton. She was also a fulltime mother and an avid bingo player. She was a member of the Carrollton Wesleyan Church in Carrollton.

She is survived by her step-father, Oscar Cook of Carrollton, three daughters, Julia Ruth Snow of Carrollton, Joey Chandler of Carrollton and Michelle Day of Worthville, KY, four sisters, Julia Smith of Carrollton, Willetta Ochy of Carrollton, Jennie Long of Carrollton and Dora Frazier of Carrollton, twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her companion, Mike Chandler in 1983, two sisters, Janet Eversole and Martha Barnes, and one granddaughter, Sidolena Martinez.

Funeral Services were on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Wade officiating the service. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.
