Ella Hulette

Ella Margaret Hulette, 91, of Louisville, KY., formerly of Carrollton, KY., died on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Twinbrook Nursing Center in Louisville, KY.

She was born in Gratz, Owen County, KY., the daughter of the late Willis Sidney and Hallie Ardell (Thomas) Johnson. Ella retired in 1979 as a School Teacher having taught in Owen County, KY., Worthville, KY., and U.S. 42 School in Carrollton. Her memberships include the Hurstbourne Baptist Church in Louisville, KY., and a former member of the Worthville Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star #442 in Carrollton, having served as Past Worthy Matron, she was a member of the Kentucky Teachers Association, KEA and NEA.

She will be missed by a daughter; Dail Frances Swanson of Louisville, KY., a son; William C. Hulette, Jr. of Hillsboro, NC., a sister; Frances Beatrice Littrell of Invernes, FL., five grandchildren; Kristen Riddick, Karen Helton, Susan Axton, Alex Hulette and Brian Hulette, along with seven great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death was her parents, her husband; William Chester Hulette in 1968, and one brother; Sidney Johnson, Jr.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Gifts may be given to the Worthville Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Funeral Services were held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at the Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Delbert Butts officiating the service. Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Carrollton, KY.

The Tandy-Eckler-Riley Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
